Rwanda is filled with people without hope: genocide survivors, street kids, some wealthy, some poor, some university-educated and some unskilled workers. Hindurwa exists to bring a message of Change, Hope, and Love that only God can give to these people through their music and personal stories.
Through traditional Rwanda dancing and drumming, as well as original modern music (reaggae, R&B, hip-hop), Hindurwa wants people to know that there is hope in life, that God’s love is for all, and that lives can be changed despite who you are and where you from.
Having been changed and transformed by the Lord Jesus Christ, Hindurwa takes God's message in Jeremiah 1:7,10 to heart. Certain of God's call on their lives, they seek to be his Ambassadors to those who do not know him and to restore new hope to those who have given up, not only in the nation of Rwanda, but around the world.
Hindurwa also seeks to reach the people of Africa in their place of need by extending the compassionate love of God in the following ways:
Assisting those in need by helping to find funds and sponsors for them
Visiting the sick, poor, and prisoners and showing them act of compassion
Motivating the youth of Rwanda to believe Christ Jesus; He is the foundation upon which the leaders of tomorrow must be built
Helping those in need by providing tangible materials
Using a percentage of album sales to help the children of Rwanda who were devastated by genocide
